Arcade, a startup that recently secured $60 million in funding to address these infrastructure gaps, highlighted that the forthcoming changes adopt a model similar to standard web traffic. By moving toward a stateless architecture, servers will no longer need to track session tokens manually, significantly reducing the overhead of running agents at scale. While the protocol’s evolution lacks the flashiness of new model releases, this shift is essential for moving agentic AI from experimental prototypes into reliable, large-scale enterprise environments.
