This hardware pivot follows a series of strategic maneuvers to manage supply chain constraints. In June, Apple implemented price increases across its Mac range, citing the ongoing global shortage of memory chips currently hampering shipment schedules. To mitigate the impact of these higher costs on consumers, the firm will launch a Klarna-backed device leasing program on July 28, attempting to maintain accessibility as its product lineup becomes increasingly expensive.
