YouTube Doubles Monetization Thresholds for Creators

The policy shift aims to curb the rapid spread of automated spam and low-quality content generated by artificial intelligence. Tech consultant Emil Protalinski noted that while the move is a setback for aspiring creators close to the current limits, it represents a strategic attempt to filter out channels flooding the site with AI-scripted videos and static imagery.
