Despite their prevalence, soft skills like teamwork and customer service failed to move the needle. Communication, appearing on 16.4% of analyzed resumes, yielded a success rate of only 15.3%. AI literacy is also creating a measurable advantage, even though only 3% of applicants currently highlight these abilities. Those who do are 1.4 times more likely to get hired. Augustine suggests that professionals across all fields should prioritize learning relevant AI tools, as these proficiencies are becoming deeply embedded in modern workplace operations.
