Crusoe Secures $3B Funding at $30B Valuation

The capital injection includes backing from Mubadala Capital, the investment arm of Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund. This latest round arrives less than a year after the company raised $1.38 billion at a $10 billion valuation, signaling rapid investor confidence in its transition toward heavy-duty AI hardware and data center development.

Crusoe recently cemented its market position by signing a $13 billion, five-year agreement to provide GPU capacity and infrastructure to the quantitative trading firm Jane Street. Having evolved from a niche operation repurposing flared natural gas into a key partner for Meta, Microsoft, and OpenAI, the company is now positioning itself for a potential public listing. Management has recently engaged with investment banks including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to weigh the path toward an initial public offering.
