Legora Secures $8.8 Billion Valuation in Latest Funding Surge

The infusion of capital arrives in a competitive climate for legal technology, closely following a $550 million raise by rival firm Harvey, which currently holds a $15.5 billion valuation. Legora’s latest round marks a significant jump from April, when the company extended its Series D funding to reach a valuation of $5.6 billion. At that time, management reported annual recurring revenue of $100 million, a figure that has since doubled.

Beyond Atreides Management, the round drew participation from prominent backers including Baron Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Menlo. The company intends to leverage these resources to accelerate its footprint throughout the North American market, moving deeper into the shift from simple AI assistants to comprehensive services that execute end-to-end legal workflows.
