Steven Pemberton

Steven James Pembertonis a British actor, comedian, writer and director best known for his dark, character-driven comedy. He first rose to prominence as a writer and performer on the BBC series The League of Gentlemen, alongside Reece Shearsmith, Mark Gatiss and Jeremy Dyson.

Pemberton and Shearsmith later co-created and starred in Psychoville and the acclaimed anthology series Inside No. 9.

His wider television credits include Doctor Who, Benidorm, Happy Valley and Whitechapel. He has also appeared in films such as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Mr. Bean's Holiday.
