Career

Asiamah began his career at Brixton's Reprezent Radio, where he gained experience and became well known for his engaging radio presence. In 2020, he made a permanent transition to BBC Radio 1Xtra, where he was appointed host of the 1Xtra Rave Show. This weekly show, which airs on Friday evenings, focuses on Black dance music culture, including genres such as jungle, drum & bass, and Afro beats. His mix of music genres and dynamic hosting style has made him a popular figure in the UK music scene.

In addition to his work on UK radio, Asiamah is also a DJ and producer, performing at various events and festivals, including notable sets at the FA Cup final in 2023, where he played alongside an 80-piece military band.
