Susannah Streeter
Susannah Streeteris senior investment and markets analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, the FTSE 100 financial services firm headquartered in Bristol. She provides analysis for both investors and for the media at the firm – the largest direct to investor investment platform in the UK.
Career
The public knows Susannah for her work reporting for BBC One’s Breakfast, for BBC Two’s consumer programme Working Lunch, and for her delivery of expert commentary during the annual BBC Budget coverage
In business television Susannah has served as the anchor for World Business Report on the BBC World Service and on BBC World TV. She is a highly experienced bilingual broadcaster working in both English and French. Her experience and know-how as an anchor of flagship news shows has created a demand for Susannah’s hosting and moderating skills in conference settings around the world. She has hosted global conferences and interviewed world leaders and central bankers on economic and political issues and their approach to environmental policies. Susannah hosted the World Green Economy Summit in Dubai, the International Banking Forum in Kuwait, the Sustainable Finance Forum in Abu Dhabi, and the Our Ocean conference in Oslo.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic Susannah’s combination of live event and televisual skills have been in demand for virtual conference hosting and keynote address. In 2020 these included the BMW Future Forum, Radiocentre, and UNPRI – United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment.
Susannah is also a former Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force Reserves. Serving with 7644 Squadron, media operations unit, she led the mobile news team on operations around the world. And she was the obvious choice to represent the UK at NATO, serving with the Inter-allied Confederation of Reserve Officers.
Susannah is a supremely capable host and speaker, an ideal candidate to moderate on AI, Automation, business, cybersecurity, defence, digital transformation, environment, finance, pharma and health, retail, technology, and, of course, the role of women in the business and the media.
