Anna Cross

Anna Crossis currently the Deputy Group Finance Director of Barclays plc and a member of the Group Executive Committee.

Career

She will be appointed Group Finance Director and join the Board on 23 April 2022. As part of her new role she will be responsible for Finance, including Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations and Strategy.

Anna qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG in London. She has worked in both Banking and Retail and has held various roles at Asda, HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group. Anna joined Barclays in 2013. She became the CFO of Barclays Bank UK plc in 2016 and the Group Financial Controller in 2019.

Personal life

Anna is a keen horse rider, gardener and musician. She enjoys being in the countryside with her family and splits her time between Yorkshire and London. She is married with one daughter.
