Rivian CFO Claire McDonough to Step Down in October

Rivian CFO Claire McDonough to Step Down in October

McDonough intends to move to the East Coast to be closer to family, according to the official statement. Rivian emphasized that the departure is not the result of any internal disagreement. Derek Mulvey, currently the vice president of finance, will assume the role of interim CFO while the company conducts a search for a permanent successor.

This leadership change arrives at a critical juncture for the company. Rivian is currently navigating the complex operational challenge of expanding its production capacity and managing the ongoing rollout of the R2 SUV, which began reaching customers earlier this summer.
