Belgian Startup Any Targets Urban Commuters With Modular LUV1 Motorcycle

The LUV1 features a design that allows for significant customization, enabling riders to swap panels and accessories to accommodate groceries, work equipment, or camping gear. Capable of reaching speeds up to 100 km/h, the motorcycle targets a broad demographic beyond traditional motorcyclists. Creative direction comes from Lowie Vermeersch, the former Pininfarina design director whose involvement helped generate immediate industry attention following the prototype's debut at Milan Design Week.

Financial momentum is building as the company prepares for mass production. After securing over 600 pre-orders in its first 100 days, Any is now targeting a €10 million Series A funding round to scale operations. The startup has already raised €2.75 million, supported by a leadership team that includes former executives from Ferrari, Aprilia, and Piaggio Group. With two swappable batteries providing an 87-mile range, the LUV1 is positioned as an affordable, license-friendly alternative to both cars and high-end cargo bikes, priced starting at €7,000.
