Amit Sanghvi’s Precision Engineering Pivot

Amit Sanghvi’s Precision Engineering Pivot

The company’s trajectory shifted in 2012 when Sanghvi initiated a strategic culling, shedding nearly a third of the firm’s revenue to exit low-value contracts. By pivoting toward proprietary drug delivery platforms, he transitioned the business from simple contract manufacturing to high-stakes intellectual property development. This evolution required a radical upgrade in regulatory compliance and quality management, a challenge met by his wife, Kinjal Bhavsar, who now leads the company’s innovation arm from the United Kingdom. Her rigor in building quality systems allowed the firm to meet the uncompromising standards of the healthcare sector.

Today, the company is scaling its manufacturing footprint with a new facility in Abu Dhabi, doubling its capacity to meet demand for weight-loss medication delivery devices. Beyond healthcare, Sanghvi is applying the same precision-engineering DNA to consumer electronics and semiconductor chip trays. To maintain agility, he has flattened the organizational structure, pushing decision-making power down to the experts closest to the work. As he looks to the future, Sanghvi emphasizes that the company’s longevity depends on a culture of empowerment, focusing on hiring young talent and providing the autonomy necessary to solve complex technical challenges.
